The second part of my visit to Thailand courtesy the Tourism Authority of Thailand is all about Pattaya is a city on the eastern coast of Thailand and is the second most visited city after Bangkok in Thailand. It’s a two hour long drive from Bangkok and another two hours if you’re travelling from Rayong. We were shown a side of Pattaya that is completely unknown. It is a city that can be seen and explored with your family, it’s a city that loves you right back, it’s a city that will be loved by a kid as much as it will be loved by an adult says Chitrangada Gupta

Right here, I am going to give you 5 major reasons about why your next family holiday should be to Pattaya, Thailand.

• Pattaya has the world’s largest Amazon Cartoon Network Water Park, yes you read that correctly. It’s not only a heaven for kids but for a full grown adult too. This beauty has been divided into two sections just so that both the parents and the kids can enjoy equally. If you’re a parent you won’t have to wait for hours at the coffee shop till the time your kids return, you can have the time of your life and at the same time give the same experience to your child too. It even has the highest water rides in Asia and the coolest ones too. The whole vibe of that place is such that there is no way you won’t have fun. They have live shows running all day long, you can learn how to surfboard and a lot of other cool stuff which you wouldn’t want to miss. It’ s a 20 minue drive from the main city of Pattaya and a 2 hour drive from the Bangkok airport.

• Now if we are covering water parks in Pattaya, how can we not talk about the biggest world class water park – Ramayana Water Park. It has its own floating market and a beautiful cave island. It has these private cabanas that you can rent for the entire day and has its own pool bar. It’s a delight to spend an entire day here whether it’s with your friends or your family.

• If you’re someone who loves theatre and art, this is something you shouldn’t miss. It’s the KAAN show in Pattaya. It’s a visual experience in itself. It’s a hybrid of live action, cinema, stage performance and world class technology. It’s something that will make you forget everything that you’ve ever seen before. It’s for an hour and half long. There are no shows on Monday and the show timings are 5:30 pm and 8:30. The theatre where the KAAN show is displayed has been specially made for KAAN.

• Lastly, if you’re someone who loves doing touristy things when you’re on a vacation. You’re going to love the Underwater Sea World in Pattaya. It’s a beautiful experience to be walking and have exotic fishes crawl and swim over you. You not only get to experience seeing water animals but also different kinds of reptiles and mammals.
