The Egyptian embassy celebrated the opening of Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization in Delhi recently. The Ambassador of Egypt to India, H.E. The event was co-organized by Egypt Air and Sopaan, a cultural organization founded by Ambassador Monika Kapil Mohta and Siddhaant Mohta, with support from Uflex, TCI Sanmar, L’Opéra, TBO.com, and Allied Aviation.

The evening brought together a distinguished audience comprising members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, and the arts fraternity of Delhi. The program featured an enchanting Kathak performance by Shivani Varma set to pharaonic and Indian tunes, and a captivating Tanoura dance by Egyptian artist Ahmed Atta, specially invited for the occasion.
