Delhi’s party friendly people got a new location when Indigo launched with a Sunday brunch, coolly named 1 Golden Mile at the very strategic Netaji Nagar- bang opposite the landmark Hyatt Regency hotel. Gods favoured the launch by shining the sun on bone frozen Delhiites even if it was for a wee bit of time. Rest was taken care of with hot delicious beverages floating around unless you wanted to go for the mouth watering cool cocktails.

Holiday returned gorgeous people mixed around refreshed and energetic while chatting about the really cool place that Indigo was with a wide open courtyard and a terrace that overlooked Delhi. All designed under the creative direction of Malini Akerkar.

As the live band ‘The Other People’ belted out some classic numbers, guests savoured the lavish spread that was enough to warm the heart. This was the first Indigo opening outside Mumbai where Rahul Akerkar, Bharat Oberoi, Anurag Katriar,  Sanjay Sanghvi and Rishad Nathani – directors  choose to be present together for the happy event along with their partners from Delhi, Sanjeev & Samegh Batra of the House of Sunrydge. "We are excited to bring our unique blend of eclectic flavours and contemporary cooking to New Delhi, where Indigo will be a 'modern yet back-to-basics' address ," says Rahul Akerkar.
