L'Occitane hosts skincare workshop
By Mahima Agarwal
L’Occitane En Provence recently hosted an evening of pampering at Amatrra Spa, Hotel Ashok. The cozy seating area of Elma’s Kitchen buzzed with chatter of beauty regimes as the brand’s trainer conducted an enlightening skincare workshop while giving us trials of the best of L’Occitane products.
The very first thing I experienced was the unique 3D face mask. For me, it was the highlight of the session. The mask is an intensive treatment meant for smoothening and brightening the complexion. It's 3D shape fitted my face and neck area perfectly and left the skin soft and supple. The essential oils in the mask are said to maintain the oil-water balance of the face. It is made of Immortelle extracts, an exotic flower that lives for about 300 years after being picked. Hence, the anti-ageing properties of the mask. Priced at INR 2100 for a pack of 5 sheets, the mask is meant for one time usage only. Other than this, I tried out a few other products like the Foam face wash, Angelica toner, Immortelle Brightening essence, and the Divine Cream.
The event was well attended by Delhi’s socialites, bloggers and the readers of Elle India magazine, which co-hosted the evening. I came back with some useful tips like the right beauty regime to follow and the benefits of using natural skincare products. After the facial pampering, we indulged in a delectable high tea menu catered by Elma's at Amatrra Spa.
