Longchamp debuts in New Delhi

Most of us have it as part of our inseparable travel necessity and some as our constant companion to office, yes, Longchamp as a brand is well-known in majority upscale Indian houses. Now the French house of luxury leather goods and clothing has opened its first ever store in India housing it in the ultra-luxury DLF Emporio mall in New Delhi.

The sprawling 1000 sq feet boutique, for its launch displayed its best sellers like the Le Pliage Heritage, Penelope, Roseau and Le Pliage Cuir bags. Now you can buy all your favouites such as the reversible bag right here. The luxury brand is known for its high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Longchamp CEO and grandson of the House’s founder Jean Cassegrain expressed his delight at being able to introduce the brand to Delhi saying “We have created a sophisticated shopping experience at the DLF Emporio Mall providing a perfect home for a new Longchamp store.” The brand also has shoes and ready-to-wear collections of shoes though not available in the store as of now.

Bringing this much loved luxury brand to India is the pretty Radha Kapoor, founder and director of DOIT Retail Brands Pvt Ltd. This Parson School of Design New York graduate is also the first Parsons alumnus who collaborated with the school to set up the Indian School of Design and Innovations in association with Parsons in 2013 in Mumbai.
