Chutney dishes out the new menu

The Chutney, Bar + Tandoor at The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa has refreshed and revamped its menu after almost a decade including good old Indian cuisine favourites along with new tastes to make it more tantalising. The gourmet menu also includes classics with contemporary twist that includes vegetarian and non vegetarian fare.

If you are looking to enjoy a happy meal with family and friends head to the Chutney restaurant famous for its Indian cuisine. The chef has taken flavours from across India and tastefully crafted an enticing palate that will make you visit the place repeatedly. The restaurant is charming and located just at the lobby level.

Luxe Point India was invited for a taste of the new menu. We began with a refreshing aam panna cocktail, followed by yummy kebabs that included chicken sheekh kebab, and quinoa cauliflower chowder soup.You can opt for the Matcha Yakhni (clear lamb soup with Indian spices and green tea), Karele ki Shammi (it's the melt-in-the-mouth Chef’s speciality full of health benefits, trust us you won't feel you are having karela).

Everyone's favourite Bharwan Aloo Tilnaaz (marinated potato barrels filled with seasoned cottage cheese roasted in tandoor), Kakori Zaitoon (delicious lamb seekh kebabs with green onions and olives), Malai Santra Kebab (freshly curated milk and hung curd pattles coated with orange reduction), Gazab ka Tikka (bite sized chicken tikka prepared in a unique cheesy marinade, the retaurant's original best seller over the decade) make a seducing platter.

You wont be able to stay away from the Chicken Dhansak (a popular Parsi dish made from chicken, lentil and vegetables), Chicken Gassi (chicken cooked with special Manglorian Gassi gravy), Pomfret Dum Masala made in aromatic spices and dried herbs, Rogan Gosht Biryani (Meat prepared with delectable spices, fried onions, tomatoes, herbs whole spices yogurt and Basmati rice),

Don't miss out on the Aatishi Jhinga (signature Chutney platter of barbequed Jumbo king sized prawns marinated in a rich creamy paste of spices and herbs), Kofta Dilkhush (Coconut and khoya stuffed Kofta with rich flavorful curry) and finish off your meal with Chef special Rajgira ki kheer (delicious dessert made from Amaranth seeds).

The Gulab jamun Sandwich is the final seducer if you really have a strong sweet tooth. It's really the classic finale to the amazing variety of comfort food that you wouldn't want to miss.
