Officine Panerai at The India Art Fair 2015
Luxury watchmaker Officine Panerai participated in the 7th Indian Art Fair 2015 in Delhi as its VIP Preview partner. Luxe Point India visited the Officine Panerai booth at the VIP Lounge of the fair and here’s what we came back with.
The preview of the India Art Fair 2015 saw artists of multiple genres come together at a common platform for the world to experience and appreciate art. Apart from canvases and sculptures, the seventh edition of the India Art Fair also witnessed the art of watchmaking, thanks to Officine Panerai, the high-end Italian watch brand that gave the visitors an exclusive insight into the world of horology. A watchmaker from Neuchâtel, Switzerland demonstrated the different and minute, intricate steps involved in watch-making. Guests got to see the details of the watchmaking process as they sipped on wines and nibbled on the delicatessen.
Panerai Watchmaker & Milvin George, Managing Director, Middle East & India, Panerai
The brand also showcased some of its classic and most sought after pieces on the occasion at their booth in the VIP Lounge. Panerai’s expertise in the creation of high-end mechanical movements and the refined design of its watches justifies the strong partnership with India Art Fair- a platform that recognizes and supports excellence in the field of Art.
Commenting on the collaboration, Milvin George, Managing Director of Officine Panerai- Middle East, Turkey & India, said, “Panerai is proud to be associated with the India Art Fair for the seventh successive edition. Being a brand born out of Florence, Panerai has always supported art events in many traditions across the world”.
The 7th edition of India Art Fair opened to the public from January 30th to February 1st, 2015 at the NSIC grounds, Okhla in the capital. A successful preview day brought over 7000 cultural patrons who bought from a range of national and international galleries. Seen at the preview were Indian art legends SH Raza and Satish Gujral, JJ Vallaya, Sheetal Mallar, Manpreet Brar, Maneka Gandhi, Shanaz Husein and Sweta Nanda among others.
