Much has been done against dowry, yet still a lot needs to be done. The beautiful a fashion show evening Celebrating Womanhood - pledge against dowry was one such earnest effort by jewellery designer Kusum Jain and Tanaya Walia  supported by 20 stunning ladies. Each of these ladies who walked the ramp to support the cause was a name to reckon with in their respective professional field.

On the ramp these ladies were adorned by Vintage and Rajwara collection from K Jewels, the jewellery label of Kusum Jain. The stunning jewellery consisted of diamond, polka, pearls and precious stones.

The fashion show was followed by an auction of selected pieces of jewelry and outfits in favour of Joining Hands by MCF, and the funds raised were directed towards the wedding of two underprivileged girls.

After the show the guest got to see and feel the beautiful jewelry on display at OLA at Mehrauli where the fashionable evening took place. Every piece studded with precious stones stood out like bright stars. The talented jewellery designer Kusum Jain commented that she was happy to join hands for a noble cause while interacting with the guests.

While showcasing for the first time India Kusum Jain is known globally for her handcrafted jewellery with an aesthetics that has Indian as well as western overtones and therefore has evolved with a distinct style of its own. The 20 gorgeous ladies, namely, Shibani Kashyap, Amanpreet Wahi, Vidya Tikari, Dr.Deepika Krishna, Deepika Bhalla, Bobby Chopra, Mallika Jain, Dr.Deepali Bhardwaj, Sahibba K Anand, Rakhee Bhandari, Shiny Dixit, Tanaya Walia and Kusum Jain were amongst others who walked the ramp wearing the ensembles of 10 fashion designers like Tanieya Khanuja, Nitya Bajaj Birla, Aejish Oberoi, Azalea by Aditi Gupta and Shivikka Chawla. show at QLA, Mehrauli.
