The suave Bollywood actor Rahul Khanna will be hosting a short three part series of The Maverick on NDTV on Glenfiddich which will be aired on the 3rd, 10th and 17th September. At an event at the Westin Hotel, Gurugram the actor and host of the series spoke on his visit to Scotland and to the Glenfiddich Distillery. The series is all about the award winning single malt whisky founded by William Grant in Dufftown in the Scottish Highlands. Rahul will be talking about legends who have introduced the much loved whisky to the world.

Set in quaint and picturesque Dufftown, the series begins from the ‘Valley of the Deer’, on the banks of the River Fiddich, where the founder William Grant nurtured a dream to make the ‘best dram in the valley’. This is where Glenfiddich got its name from. The actor will talk about the nuances of the whisky making as well as drinking it. "I am richer by the knowledge that this well known and loved whisky all over the world has come from a small and quaint setting of Dufftown. I enjoyed the experience of filming it with the team and loved the picturesque landscape," he said while addressing the guests who enjoyed the whisky.
