Fashion designer Mandira Wirk showcased her Bridal Asia collection to select guests at the Hyatt Regency at a high tea party in Delhi. It was hosted by the Bridal Asia founder Divya Gurwara.  It was fun and excitement as Delhi’s celebrities dressed up in Mandira Wirk couture inspired by the stunning Palace of Versailles. The luxurious collection used fabrics like velvet, satin silk, French chiffons and silk jacquards and georgettes.

The constructed corsets, drape sarees with beautiful backless blouses studded with semi precious stones and embroidered with golden threads, long jackets, shararas and lehengas combined a rich history of Indian embroidery and a very contemporary look. It gave the collection a regal look with a modern touch. Jewelry designer Payal Guptas gave it the final touch to Mandira’s fine couture with her bespoke jewelry using emeralds, rubies and diamonds among other. The Bridal Asia is slated for 5 -7 October, 2013 at the Hotel Ashok, Delhi.
