Ferrari's grand return to New Delhi
Ferrari whizzed back to India with a brand new showroom at the Industrial Estate on Mathura road with Select Cars as their official dealer. To buy a Ferrari, this is where one must go as it is the only official Ferrari dealership in New Delhi.
Speaking about the event, Enrico Galliera, Senior Vice-President Commercial & Marketing, Ferrari SpA, addressed the press and said, "A huge number of Indians are passionate clients and collectors of Ferrari. Many are buying their cars abroad or importing them because they are not available in India. It is important for us to be physically present in this growing market.
We have made mistakes in India in the past. Therefore it was important for us to come back and find the right partner. After a long selection process, Yadur Kapur was selected as the ambassador for Ferrari in North India, because of his awareness in the market and his experience in the automobile industry.
Ferrari is not about selling a car. It's about selling a dream. And we need to have someone that is able to show our clients that he's not here just to sell you a car, he's here to represent our brand. He will be our ambassador in this part of the world.
Lastly, we want to make sure, any Ferrari client in the world, whether in New Delhi, Milan or Shanghai, should get the same feeling and service, no matter which showroom they enter."
The Ferrari showroom comes with a lounge, where clients can discuss all the nitty-gritty details of every Ferrari over a cup of coffee. It's a place where a customer can connect with the brand and maybe discover new things. The showroom can accommodate three cars and they also have an 'Atelier' where one can buy predesigned cars or customise everything from the colour of the leather to the style of stitching and other such details.
Yadur Kapur, Director, Select Cars Pvt. Ltd. said: “We are delighted with the opening of the new Ferrari showroom. As befits this Italian luxury sports car brand, we will strive to constantly exceed our customers’ expectations in every way.”
