3 top places to enjoy Happy Hours in Monaco

Are you planning your summer holidays at the Principality of Monaco or you are already packed and looking for happy hours to chill? In any case here's top three places to check out with 'party' in your mind.

#1 A happy hour from faraway lands at the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo

For an exotic happy hour, head to the depths of the Middle East at the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo, a unique place bathed in history and exoticism, which serves as a temple of relaxation and celebration. Formerly home to the Cabaret de Monte-Carlo, the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo now features oak panelling and sculptures, pilasters and moulding, and stucco and gilding. Its colossal and peaceful guardian, a seven-metre tall Buddha, takes you on an incredible journey between the East and the West. DJ Papa, another legendary resident of this atypical establishment, saw in the Buddha-Bar the perfect sound box for his minimalist music taste, which blends house and chill-out, ethnic and electro beats. This will definitely get you in the mood for discovering exotic flavours, as you sip one of the Lounge Bar’s succulent cocktails, such as the fizzy bright-red Bubble Wap.

#2 A cosy & chic Happy Hour at the Crystal Bar

At the cosy and chic Crystal Bar of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, treat yourself to a sophisticated happy hour drink conjured up by true connoisseurs, with spirits, the wine waiter’s selection and explosive cocktails. Like the subtle flavours of his Bolchoï... The cocktails are constantly reinvented, according to the inspiration of our head barman, who adds a new unique and original recipe to the menu every month. Having a drink at the Crystal Bar means treating yourself to a delicious moment of pleasure in an intimate and distinguished modern décor. An elegant venue for timeless happy hours, under the palace’s five stars.

Good to know: happy hour from 6 pm to 8 pm from Sunday to Thursday from October to March (50% off a selection of drinks)

#3 Happy hour by the sea at the Blue Gin

To enjoy a cocktail with a stunning view of the sea, make the most of the Blue Gin happy hours, at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort bar. Monégasques call it the “Waterfront” of the Principality: comfortably installed on the terrace which is completely covered and heated, you will get a magical view of the Mediterranean. And the inside is just as remarkable, with its sophisticated design creating a delicately understated and cosy atmosphere. With its Finger Food menu thought up by the chef Marcel Ravin and his bold signature cocktails, including the delicious Hendricks Tea Time, the Blue Gin is an unmissable lounge bar, where a festive and relaxed atmosphere reigns in an elegant setting. The ideal place for happy hour drinks with friends and colleagues.

Good to know: happy hour from 6 pm to 8 pm from Sunday to Wednesday from October to March (50% off) Doesn't apply to groups or to private events at the Blue Gin
