Hyatt Regency, Delhi is all set to open the magnificent doors of its recent ambitious project – The Mansion’s Oval Room to the hoi polloi of the capital. In the 80s and the 90s, in its place stood the popular night club Djinns, which had its own stories to tell, mostly cherished memories of perhaps the now ageing individuals who dated, wined and dined, gorgeous ladies who danced the night away and fell in love here and are maybe raising families now. There is definitely a feeling of déjà vu when you enter the place which is spanking new and now remarkably different.

The Oval room is stylish and flushed with natural lights filtering in through the tall glass windows on the outer wall which is 12.4 ft high. The high ceilings have peralta paint and silver leaf work. Rich chandeliers hang from the centre that can give you a romantic mood lighting.

But the piece de resistance is the open show kitchen with world class Marrone cooking suites imported all the way from Italy. The duck that you will relish here will be cooked on the duck oven from Beech Ovens, Australia. The cooking stations are multi-functional and the wall behind the kitchen is adorned with Lilac marble, book-matched and prefab from China. It can accommodate 1000 guests in one go.

"As part of Hyatt Regency Delhi’s thirty years of operations we are proud to showcase The Mansion’s Oval Room today, our brand new event facility that has been designed to provide inspiring events in a very stylish and elegant venue.  This refreshing location will increase the total size of events in the space to 2,977 sq m (32,050 sq ft) spread over two levels," said Mr. Aseem Kapoor, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Delhi.  He also said, “The new space is based on the core concept of open show kitchens, and is more than just another venue.  It is based on our core strengths: excellence in service coupled with successful food and beverage concepts.”

It’s designed by interior design firm HBA from Dubai - the number one hospitality design firm across the globe - along with a team of globally renowned architects from the Bauer Latoza Studio in Chicago, DPA Lighting UK and MKA from Seattle.

The Mansion is open for bookings from July.
