Luxepointindia and Art Spice, The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa teamed up together to bring a scintillating art show to Delhi which was inaugurated recently by Babita Gupta, owner of the Spice Arft Gallery, Arati Thapa, Editorial Director, Luxepointinida and the editor of Millennium Post to an august gathering of art lovers, fashion designers, well known artists and art curators. The group exhibition “Songs of India” by 21 Indian artists were vivid artworks of India’s heritage representing the changing face of society. As Indian art goes truly global, Indian artists have tried to explore recent trends that delve deeply into symbols and expressions embedded in local culture. The illustrious artists who participated included Seema Kohli, Shyamal Mukherjee, P.Gnana, Bhaskar Rao, Sanjay Soni, D.V.S. Krishna, K. Ravi, Manu Parekh, Pramod MV, Sreekanth Kuruva, Ramesh Gorjala, Dharmendra Rathore and many more.

Enjoying the evening with wine and delicious  hors d'oeuvres were Anupamaa Dayal, designer Jatin Kochhar, artist Neeraj Gupta, artist Ruchi Chadha, Gudmun Dur Eiriksson, Executive Director, Jindal Global Law School, awarde winning photographer Abhishek Hajela and his beautiful wife Shikha Mishra, Editor of North-East Sun magazine Deepak Dewan and his beauty expert wife Suparna Trikha, Wedding planner Neeta Raheja and journalist Navneet Mehendiratta, wedding planner Vidhi Aneja with Rohit Aneja, budding artist Tanisha Jain with her parents, Taran Deep and Ning Khurana.

The exhibition is on till APRIL 15 at The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa, Bangla Sahib Road, New Delhi
